Device Overview

The MIC02 is a magnetic microphone designed to work exclusively with our Hearit.ai app. It features:

  • A single button for operation
  • Magnetic attachment capability for easy placement on phone backs or other surfaces
  • LED indicator for status information

Basic Operations

Button Functionality

  • The device has one button for all operations

Power Management

  • The MIC02 does not require manual power on/off
  • It enters sleep mode when not in use for 3 minutes to conserve battery

LED Indicator

  • Red flashing light or alternating red and blue lights: Device is not connected to the app
  • Solid green light: Device is charging, when fully charged the light will turn off
  • Solid blue light: Device is connected to the app and transmitting audio

Connecting to the App

  1. Download our app on your smartphone if you haven't already

  1. Ensure your MIC02 is charged, push the button once in case it was previously sleeping
  2. Open the app and register an account or login
  3. Tap 'Add Hearit.ai'

  1. Allow bluetooth to connect if prompted
  2. Select the device with GMIC prefix from the list of available devices

device-select 7. Allow the app to pair with the device if prompted 8. You can give the device a name and an avatar if you wish, tap 'OK' to continue

  1. Tap 'Setup Complete'
  2. Once connected, the MIC02 will be visible in the app and ready for use

Using the Microphone

  1. Once connected to the app, the MIC02 is ready for use
  2. Attach the microphone to your phone or place it in a suitable location
  3. Hold down the button on the microphone to talk, release to send

Charging

  • Connect the MIC02 to a power source using usb-c cable
  • The LED will show a solid green light while charging

Troubleshooting

If you see a red flashing light or alternating red and blue lights, try the following:

  1. Ensure the app is open and running
  2. Check if the MIC02 is properly connected to the app
  3. If issues persist, try restarting the app

Care and Maintenance

  • Keep the microphone clean and free from debris
  • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or moisture
